1. Purpose & Scope
Stakr is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and decentralized ecosystem. This Anti-Sybil Policy ("Policy") outlines the rules, detection frameworks, and enforcement actions implemented to prevent Sybil attacks, farming exploits, and artificial manipulation of the Stakr protocol, $Stakrcoin token events, and Community Growth Airdrop distributions.
A Sybil attack occurs when a single entity creates multiple pseudonymous wallets or accounts to gain disproportionate influence, manipulate leaderboard metrics, or exploit token distributions meant for unique community members.
2. Prohibited Sybil & Farming Tactics
To preserve equitable reward structures, the following activities are strictly prohibited across all Stakr interfaces and smart vaults:
- Multi-Wallet Farming: Controlling or operating multiple Web3 wallets to repeatedly claim airdrop allocations, referral rewards, or tier bonuses.
- Automated Scripting & Bots: Utilizing automated scripts, bots, or programmatic tools to simulate organic user activity across Stakr liquidity pools or vaults.
- Circular Transaction Routing: Passing identical funds sequentially through a cluster of controlled wallets (wash trading or circular liquidity seeding) to artificially inflate volume or APY metrics.
- Sybil-as-a-Service Tools: Utilizing automated farming services, multi-account management extensions, or IP rotation proxies specifically designed to evade anti-bot filters.
3. Detection Mechanisms & Heuristics
Stakr collaborates with leading Web3 security and chain-analysis partners to evaluate wallet clusters. Detection models evaluate parameters including, but not limited to:
- Funding Source Clustering: Tracing wallets initialized from a single exchange deposit, centralized relay, or batch-funding smart contract.
- Behavioral Synchronization: Identifying groups of addresses executing identical transactions within near-simultaneous timeframes.
- Graph Connectivity: Analyzing transfer graphs for closed loops, tree-structured disbursements, or hub-and-spoke token movements.
- Off-Chain Telemetry: Cross-referencing browser fingerprinting, IP subnet patterns, and social connection verifications where applicable.
4. Airdrop & Incentive Eligibility
Participation in $Stakrcoin airdrops, vault multiplier programs, or launchpad allocations requires meeting minimum organic threshold standards. Stakr reserves the right to impose minimum time-weighted liquidity holdings, wallet activity age, and Gitcoin Passport or Web3 identity verifications.
Wallets identified as Sybil nodes will be permanently disqualified from current and future reward distributions without prior notice.
5. Penalties & Blacklisting
If an address or network of addresses is flagged for violating this Policy, Stakr reserves the right to enforce the following remedies at its sole discretion:
- Immediate forfeiture of accrued reward points, allocation multipliers, and claimed airdrop tokens.
- Permanent blacklisting of associated wallet addresses from accessing the Stakr Web3 interface.
- Reallocation of forfeited rewards back to legitimate community treasury pools or organic stakers.
6. Appeals & Self-Reporting Program
We recognize that complex on-chain behavior can occasionally result in false positives. Stakr provides a structured remediation window prior to token generation events (TGE):
- Self-Reporting Grace Period: Users operating multiple accounts who self-report prior to snapshot deadlines may retain a partial allocation on a designated primary wallet while surrendering secondary allocations without further penalty.
- Appeals Process: Flagged users may submit proof of unique identity or legitimate multi-sig/treasury operation through our official appeal portal.
7. Policy Amendments
As Sybil tactics evolve, Stakr reserves the right to update detection heuristics, eligibility thresholds, and enforcement procedures at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of these revised standards.
